Sometimes, real superheroes live in the hearts of dear friends who have fought great battles.
On December 1, our dear friend Bekah Heiman was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. She battled grade 4 glioblastoma (GBM), the meanest fastest growing glioma cancer for 4 months. Even through the ups and downs, she found ways to laugh through the experience, entertaining all she knew with her humor, her charm and her positive, CAN DO ATTITUDE. She showed us how to be BEKAH STRONG! On March 21, 2017 Bekah lost her battle with cancer and went to dance with the angels…
Bekah was an Elementary PE teacher at Morton Ranch Elementary for the past 4 years and taught in the Katy Independent School District for over 15 years.
She was a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a fighter, an Aggie, a woman of strong faith, a true FREE spirit and a real-life superhero.
