August is HOT, But COOL Things Are Happening at BB’s Tex-Orleans
Down here in Texas, we all know that August is HOT. We also know that it’s the time where our kids get back to school. That also means that the Teachers, Faculty and Staff have to go back too. While it’s exciting to start another school year, it’s also a bit sad to have to end all the Summer FUN. Here at BB’s Tex-Orleans, we’ve decided to add a little something that will make going back to school a little easier on our Teachers, Faculty and Staff; The Boozy Lemon-Aid! To AID in Heat Exhaustion, Reality Exhaustion, and the Back to School Blues! This YUM spiked lemonade is made with vodka, brandy, triple sec, fresh lemon juice, muddled strawberries, orange juice and simple syrup, and will be offered to ALL Teachers, School Faculty and Staff for just TWO BUCKS!! Don’t forget to bring your School ID! This offer is only available from August 3-27, 2023, so don’t wait too late!
For those of us in Houston, Texas and the Surrounding Areas, we all know that August also means Houston Restaurant Weeks are back!! We LOVE being able to participate in this amazing event each year, serving up some of our BEST dishes in a three course lunch or four course dinner at great prices! What’s even better, though, is that while you are dining out, you are also doing good for the community! Each meal purchased means that we donate to the Houston Food Bank to generate multiple meals for people in need. You can’t beat that! This event runs from August 1- September 4, 2023, so you’ve got plenty of time to Dine Out and Do Good, while also trying out our New, Revitalized Menu!
And don’t think we forgot about our AMAZING San Antonio, Texas Krewe! We will also be participating in Culinaria’s San Antonio Summer Restaurant Weeks at BOTH locations this year! San Antonio Summer Restaurant Weeks run from August 12-26, 2023, and we will be offering three course lunch and three course dinner options for you to choose from! We LOVE that Culinaria supports local high school culinary education programs and education with the donations made by restaurants during Restaurant Weeks! What a perfect opportunity to support our SATX students and check out our New, Expanded Menu!
We also can’t forget to mention White Linen on White Oak! If you’ve ever been in the Houston Heights area on the first Saturday of August, then you know all about White Linen Night. This year, we are celebrating Houston’s diverse culture with music by Swaded Sounds from 6:30-9:30, while you Fill Up or Recharge with great grub and amazing drinks at BB’s Tex-Orleans in the Heights! The event runs from 5pm to LATE! We can’t wait to see you there!
No matter which exciting August event you are most looking forward to, there’s no doubt that you’ll have a great time and leave with a smile.
